13 Carmine Street

I came here after a date I was going on suggested it.  In hindsight, we should have gone somewhere else.  While it was a charming spot off of 7th avenue, the place was empty, perhaps because it was bitter cold out and the music was almost too soft to the point where it was quiet if we were not talking.  The food however, was the only upside.  I had a bowl of mac and cheese that had 3 different cheeses and a bowl of french onion soup that had so much yummy cheese melted on the top, you could jumprope with it.  Although I am sure breakfast/brunch is probably a safe bet here, with the abundance of great spots around I would pick another place to go.
