I like chicken wings as much as the next guy, but i like DUCK WINGS a lot more!!! I’ve never had duck wings before and was very intrigued when the bartender recommended them. They were unbelievable!!!
Duck Wings with orange glaze and red chili’s
I went with the WVF team a few weeks ago and had a blast. The place looks like a cool old French Brasserie and the food was great. The Bouchon burger was solid. I’m not sure what Bouchon is, but it had carmelized onions, chipolte mayo and fries.
This place really surprised me…duck wings… 🙂
You do the math
A solid spot with flawless food. We walked in and waited only about 10 minutes at the bar and sat down. There are so many French Brasseries in NYC but this one finds a way to stand head and shoulders above the others (i.e: Pastis, Les Halles, etc.) Of course, the duck wings were as unbelievable as they look (see above). Both sweet and tangy and the meat just fell off of the bone with ease. La Frieda meat struck again the the Bouchon Burger, it tasted as soft as butter. We all had a pot of mussels and requested extra bread, naturally, for bottom of the pot dipping. Everyone that comes here should be splitting one of their Hot Dogs, it comes on a pretzel bread roll and sauerkraut. People always ask what the hell is a Hot Dog made of but when I bit into that….could care less.
I am going back to Lyon next week. Awesome experience with the WVF crew.
