This place is great in the summer because of all the outdoor tables that look out onto West 4th Street. This is a nice place to have drinks and people watch. I am not overly impressed with the food, but sometimes location and eye candy can draw a crowd. Because of all the really great food in the West Village, a place needs to wow you; location and outdoor tables isn’t enough.
I’m guessing their brunch is good because there is always a line of people hanging out front waiting…

If meatballs are your thing, come here on Sunday nights for “Meatball Night.”
It is a fantastic date spot with specials that change daily. The service was a bit aloof but if your on a date be sure to get a coveted sidewalk table and enjoy the people watching while you drink or dine.

Once again, meatballs the size of my head just know how to hit the spot. Tuna tartare however, that needed a bite more avocado in it. All in all though, a good outing.
Joey F. is a great owner who knows how to take care of customers. Sent over a few drinks for my date and I to go with our meatballs. Always a sweet time here.
