Sometimes there’s nothing better than ordering chinese food from bed after a long night of partying.
This is my go to Chinese delivery spot. Typically takes less than 20 minutes, and really cheap. No delivery minimum also. Not as high-end as Sammy’s Noodle, but very satisfying. Nothing better than some fried rice, wonton soup, an egg roll and some chicken.

I’d like to agree with the original reviewer concerning Christopher Street Golden Woks. While it couldn’t be on a more dingy stretch of a popular “ho stroll” in the Far West Village. It serves up tasty American Chinese fast as a as mofo. And you get a free soda too on large General Tso’s orders, or any large plate order, AND they have BROWN RICE! Bonus! Perfect for anyone hungover and craving saltiness and sweetness. While you may have a different hangover the next day, you will feel great when it shows up and you forget all about the 8 shots of Jameson you drank last night.
In the interest of full disclosure, I have to, with a bit of embarrassment, relay to you that at one point I ate one order of General Tso’s Chicken every day for over two months, and nothing else. Not only was I in the best shape of my life at the end of the two months, but I felt great, and wasn’t poor. Big Ups to Golden Woks. West Village Institution. Knock it and beware…
The egg drop soup is bomb
I think Sammys noodle is better, but I get the chicken with mixed vegetables and sesame chicken sometimes. Its pretty good
