I’ve been told its impossible to get in, but I’ve been numerous times and seem to have no problem. A short wait at most. Anyway, the atmosphere is great, and probably one of the nicest ambiance in the village. The burger was delish, and so was the steak. They have their famous truffle mac and cheese, which I havent had yet, but I know it is pricey.
Have not seen any celebrities here, but told its a celeb hot spot.
Just went today with a few friends for brunch, and it was perfect. The pancake with pears and bacon stole the show. Outrageous. It is sweet with the syrup and could even be served as dessert. I started smiling during my first bite.
The scrambled eggs were also very tasty. Overall an amazing brunch.
I agree with Rob here that the dutch pancake really steals the show. I’ve had their truffle mac that they’re famous for and these pancakes would rival that dish anyday. I’m not even a pancake fan so that should tell you how good they were. The simple eggs over easy were on the other hand unimpressive but the potato pancake was perfect and nicely crisped up on all edges.
A solid brunch vibe thats a bit intimate inside (candles roaring at 12:30pm) and a mellow more casual garden on the outside (enclosed dont worry).
The truffle mac and cheese is amazing. Whenever I’m in the city on business I come specifically for it. Last time they had the white truffle mac and cheese which knocked my socks off. So it’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it
Just wanted to comment and say nice blog, great to read from people who know what they are talking about.
