The best Chinese food I’ve had. The crispy noodles with beef is amazing and crunchy. I’ve never had anything like it before. The eggroll is enormous. Great place.
I agree with Rob that it’s one of the better Chinese spots within the price range. It’s no Mr Chow’s but it’s very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the lo-mein which is unique since they use very fat noodles compared to the normal spaghetti style. I would stay away from the cold sesame noodles however since they were overly sweet and seem to be doused in sugar. Overall a solid delivery spot.
Great noodles and overall chinese. A staple for the West Village and a must have for anyone in NYC. Perfect for the price point. Also a perfect location. You will all agree on everything I’ve said. Get in to Sammys for some awesome chow.
I judge my Chinese food restaurants by their Hot and Sour soup.. Sammy’s is the best around. Affordable prices.. Great food. Perfect place for a quality meal.
I love my hot and sour soup, and now thinking about it some more, based on hitsnyc post, i too judge my chinese restaurants on their hot and sour. Love it spicy, and hot too…and its best when it opens your pores in your face. next time at sammys i will have the H&S. Try Friend House in E. Vill for some good H&S. Thanks Hitsnyc…
